Reiki Level 1 Course

A Reiki Level 1 course, also known as First Degree Reiki, typically serves as an introduction to the practice of Reiki and lays the foundation for further training and development. Prior to your course, I recommend reading 'Reiki for Life' by Penelope Quest, to help you understand Reiki's theory and history.

During the course, you will gain an understanding and awareness of:

1. Reiki - what it is and how you experience its effects
2. How to do a self -treatment
3. How to help yourself heal
4. How to manage your own energies better
5. How to treat others
6. How to treat animals, plants and environments
7. Reiki Principles: what they are and how to live by them
8. How to work with energy in your everyday life

On completion of your Reiki 1 course I recommend a three month break before you consider doing Reiki level 2.

Classes are small and informal.  They take place in comfortable surroundings where you will be able to fully experience Reiki's power and potential.  This approach allows for optimal tutoring and provides plenty opportunity for one-to-one work.

Certain elements of the course can be emotionally challenging as personal issues often surface. However, Reiki is the intelligent life-force that connects you to what you need and you can be assured you will have my support throughout.

The 5 days are non-consecutive and can be tailored to meet individual needs. By spreading the days out this way allows for a more comprehensive understanding and practical experience of Reiki, enabling you to delve deeply into the concepts and principles, rather than superficial memorisation.
