During a Reiki treatment, the client lies, fully clothed, on a massage couch while the practitioner places their hands lightly on or just above the body's main energy centres, also known as chakras.
The practitioner, acting as a conduit, channels Reiki energy, through the palms of their hands, allowing it to flow to where it is most needed. Reiki treatments are gentle and non-invasive, and clients often report feelings of warmth, relaxation, and wellbeing during and after their treatment.
Reiki is often used as a complementary therapy alongside conventional medical treatments to promote relaxation, reduce stress, alleviate pain and accelerate the body’s natural ability to heal.
The best way to understand how Reiki works is to experience it.
